Background of Rbf.Julie
We all have a busy life if we are parents right? Maybe you have a pet and that is your child either way a child and a pet both are demanding of our time. So how do I remain active with being a busy mom? I had to figure out how to balance everything which I was not use to.
So I am going to dive into what my life is like....Ready! I am a certified personal trainer who was having major back pain. I went to my dentist and he is the one who told me about meditation and I should try it. Well I always research everything I do so I did instead of meditating I decided to practice yoga because of all the great benefits I read. I practiced yoga (not regularly) for around a year and noticed a huge difference in my back. My doctor told me the only way to fix my back was surgery and I being 28 at the time said no way that is too young to have back surgery!! So let us fast forward I am now a 200YTT (yoga teacher) currently going through the 300YTT and will become RYT500 after I complete that. I also home school my child even before (covid-19) he is in first grade this year so I still have to be right beside him to help him read or for any other reason. So I get up as early as I can to get my yoga teacher training in and around 8 my son gets up and he has breakfast. So basically form 8:30-2pm we are busy with school and me preparing our meal prep. After 2pm we go outside or into our home-gym and its PE time. I am also running my first 5k this year and so we get cardio in and body weight training. That is a brief of my day that doesn't include all the material I type and video. For my social media accounts haha. I know most of this busy life is brought on by myself but I wouldn't have it any other way.
I started this blog so I can help others with self care and self love. I suffered depression for 3.5 years after having my child. Fitness pulled me out of this depression (yes it does always try to come back but I fight it). I want to be able to share this with everyone who might be a little hard on themselves or fighting depression. Covid-19 sent a lot of people into major depression and I am here to help with that. I will be posting on this blog once a week. It could be what I am facing with hormonal issues or a new fitness routine I found. Either way I want to share my life with you all and hopefully connect with others so I can help them. Feel free to reach out to me anytime if you need to talk to someone about your depression or what you are facing in your life. (I am no doctor for depression or mental health I can only relate because I went through it. I am not saying I can give out any health advice just a few tips I did to help myself. You can then speak to your doctor to see if any exercise routine is good for you and your health.) -Rbf.julie
